Hi Naomi, I absolutely love your site and I love the pictures that Dave is showcasing here. I was just in Zambia and took the most beautiful photo of a Saddlebilled Stork plucking a fish from the river and then throwing it back into his mouth. It was fabulous. I love all your “Thought for the Day” inspirations and your Affirmations. I really think you should be on our trip, Soul Safari with Ainslie MacLeod, psychic and Opera Soul Series Guest. We’re coming to South Africa, it gives me chills reading your posts because it’s right up your alley. See our website http://www.hillsofafrica.com and then click on Ainslie’s picture on the bottom right. I am loving your blog, you give it a lovely feel and touch. Thank you for sharing your beautifulness with the world.
I really hope to meet you soon.

Hi Sandy, thanks so much for your wonderful and deeply touching message.
Lucky you for just being in Zambia! I’d love to see your Saddlebill’ pic! Dave has a stunning series of 2 of them, one catching a fish, then being dive-bombed by a fish-eagle, who tries to steal it and escapes in an undignified fashion atfer they all lose the catch (taken at Khwai river). It’s published in the ‘BirdLife South Africa’ book.
I’ve followed the link to your Soul Safari and would LOVE to join you!!!!! The cost is scary, though, particularly given our rand exchange rate. Still, it sounds like an experience of a lifetime, so I’ll discuss it with Dave, who I know would also love to share it. We’re off for a long weekend now – he’s an ex-professional motorbike racer & still races dirt-bikes, so it’ll be lots of fun – I’ll get back to you about the Safari next week.
Thank you again for such amazing encouragement. I really means a lot & it would be fabulous to meet you!
Have a great weekend,
Naomi
P.S. Sorry, Sandy, I forgot to mention: I’ve added a link here to your site – is that okay?
Hi Naomi – great to hear from you. I think we may be able to do Soul Safari for you, you guys would fit right in too, and I personally think it would be wonderful to have some South Africans on the trip too!!!
I would love for you to add my link – thank you. I will add yours to mine too.
I will send you my saddlebill pic via email.
Take care and I can’t wait to meet you.
Sandy
Thank you, Sandy, for adding our link and considering accomodating us on the Safari – that would be stunning!! Looking forward to the pic & meeting you too
